cos technically its a shortened/condensed version of AFS Japan?

3 wks total
2 wks homestay & school immersion programme
1 wk of sightseein and ASEAN jr summit+some parties and a whole lot of activities
all expenses paid by Japan's MFA, although we cost US10k each ._. or izzit 5k? can't rmb.
Waseda:
8 days
school immersion+sightseeing+cultural exchange
1.5k
but i think the people'd make up for it if i went?
cos the ppl goin for waseda (as in those that i knw wanna go, hope they make it ;D) are niiiice
kinda sad if im not goin and miss out on the fun :/

hmm but i dun think i'd wanna blow 1.5k of my parent's money doing stuff i did before,
although i realli wouldn't mind going back to Japan. (not when its for 1500 bucks though)
parents' not really supportive of the $$ part, especially me dad.
