hmm. very interesting food for thought.
just read ying's post bout the eating and weight issue, and wow. it seriously has lots of relevant points, go read it ppl!

indeed, are we people becoming like americans; judging what a person is or will become purely based on our weight or body figure? is our society so harsh as to not accept anyone who is fatter or physically not as pleasing?
I know for a fact that i personally think gracia's weight makes her extremely unattractive. not that im stereotyping against her, its not the fact that shes fat that makes me not like her, her attitude alone's enough to turn me off even if she had a killer figure.


at this age, girls: (in e2 or guys or anywhere along the level) please don't force yourself to NOT eat.
be it girls or guys, you guys are currently undergoing puberty. in other words, you guys are GROWING.

dont eat= body has nothing to turn into body matter eg muscles, bones, etc = no growth.

simple as that.

when your body is hungry, means it needs food to sustain bodily functions like growth, thinking, etc etc.

especially so at this age when your body is growing like mad, cutting off its only way of surviving isnt a very smart thing to do.
starving yourselves will not bring about weight loss, in case you guys din know.

let me explain:
when you starve yourself, your body takes it as you CANNOT eat, not that you don't want to like as though you're trapped on a desert island and youre purposely living off your fats.
as such, it slows down your metabolic rate, or the things it does to survive to sustain your fats because you could be stuck on the island for a long long time, its just the body's survival instincts kicking in.

as such, your body burns calories at a lesser rate, resulting in you stupidly NOT eating and still under the pretence that you are sacrificing your enjoying nice food for a slimmer figure, when in fact youre actually losing less weight than you normally would if you ATE.

now you guys see how STUPID it is when you don't eat? but at the same time, dont be a genius and stuff your face whenever you can please ppl ;D

a good rule of thumb is, like ying said:
to eat in moderation. eat everything and anything but in the correct amounts depending on what it is. eating more food however in spaced out meals also helps, like 6 meals a day.
reasoning?
when your body feels that its eating in abundance, like 6 meals a day, it doesnt feel the need to hoard fat since you are apparently eating alot. so it thinks, why bother storing fat? can just burn it as much as i want because im not worried bout not having a source of food, since i get food 6 times a day.

result: you end up being more full and satisfied, some more you eat enough for your body to sustain itself and grow (: *your body also burns energy faster since it thinks that its got lots to burn*

hmm, hope you guys reading this helped in understanding how harmful it is to NOT eat.
also filled in the scientific standpoint of ying's arguement ;P
