hi, all. i've not posted for a reasonably long time, (as always, my lame excuse that i was either busy or too lazy to post. thanks for the reminder, nick.) okay. so, on monday i went to hwa jie's house to stayover, as usual in the hols. went there on monday, and played monopoly and watched the school of rock there. the next day, we went over to queensway to buy jie's new nike shoes. wow, you can get really good bargains at queensway, maybe i'll go there some other day. jie's nike shoes, original retail price: $129 give or take. no bargaining. at queensway: $119, bargain to $99. what the hell. that's a really good bargain!!! i'll go buy shoes there next time.
after that, we went to the "arcade" at queensway, if you could call it one. a piece of advice. DON'T GO TO THAT STINKING PLACE. IT SUCKS. BIG TIME. the games there are probably 20 years old, or maybe 10 years old. whatsmore, all the games there SUCK. the only game nice there is Time Crisis 2, of which im a faithful fan of. well, there's this punching game there. youre supposed to sock the thing when it comes up. at EASY mode, you have to punch him out of 210 life, when a suckerpunch by jie only took 88 life from the stupid thing. what a bloody waste of money. its like the game's meant for adults, or something, cos it is FRIGGIN impossible to win. whoever wins, i'll treat them to lunch. so good luck to people out there who want a free lunch. so that concludes what happened on monday.
so, i went back home on tuesday, and basically nothing much happened, i guess. just a normal day of slacking in the life of daniel john lee. then today came. the FISH-ing glider competition. woke up at 6.30, and ate a tuna sandwich and went off to BB MRT. met kim hock and zhihao at the control station, and proceeded to go to Singapore Poly. so, Bukit Batok was so damn suay to be the first one to launch. *Emcee speaking* " and Bukit Batok Secondary is the first one to launch the gliders off!! now, lets see how they do!! 3!! 2!!! 1!!! PEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!(horn la....)"
*fweeeee* (the glider going down the ramp.)
*PIAK.* ( the glider hitting the ground. hard. gravity triumphs again.)
"Ouuu.....and that was a bad start from Bukit Batok......NEXT."
how lame was that. a massive waste of time, and all we got was a stupid COP( cert of participation) and even the $100 cheque was used to fund the stupid glider!!!! hope the teacher claims from school, so we get something substantial, at least. that was it. the all wonderful GLIDER project. *big shock. dramatic music. gaping wide open mouths.* LIKE I CARE. the glider project can fish off and K!$$ my @$$. haha. bye.
