hi, all.i have possibly witnessed a cruel act of humanity in the world. if youre a brother, and you see your sibling in trouble, what would you do? help? think of ways that you can assist? i would. its your responsibility, so to speak, to take care and watch over your siblings. what kind of brother would leave the sibling in the lurch, expect them to deal with the problem, and wait till it tides over? they wouldn't. not unless the sibling is either, 1) completely helpless to the current situation, 2) just plain lazy to assist, or 3) he doesn't care. the point of siblings, regardless of whether blood related or not, are to protect, assist, and watch over each other when problems and such things arise. when the going gets tough, and the brother stands at the side and watches, is he doing the right thing? or at the least, is he even thinking of how to solve the problem at hand? if he isn't, then ask yourself this. is he really your sibling? is he fufilling all his rights and responsibilities to help you? is he even giving a damn? a brother that can actually stand to see his sibling get hurt and at a disadvantage, or see them suffer in silence, in my book, is not a sibling at all. when you treat someone in a certain way, think back. would you like to be treated in the same way? if the treatment to people is one sided, and not returned, then what does it become? a lost cause? an empty promise? just imagine, that the situation was reversed. if the brother was now knee deep in confusion, pain, suffering, personal conflict, among all the other stuff that the average teen encounters, if he was crying out for someone, just someone to help, and thinking that the one that's close to him, his sibling, would assist him and guide him along. but what if, it wasnt like this at all? turned out that the sibling was none too happy to comply, and in the brother's current condition, he was too afraid and frightened to ask the sibling for more help? what would he feel? lost, lonely, afraid, confused, these are just a minor host of emotions and feelings, of which are only some of what the sibling is currently feeling. to the brother, if you are reading this, kindly try to do something. anything. anything at all, to make your sibling feel better. its what you should have done a long time ago.ME
